A recent addition to our hire range is the fabulous digital Whack a Mole game - a modern version of the classic arcade game.

This modern version of the game is played by two players at a time who compete to whack as many of the light up mole targets as they can within the set time using the traditional style mole bashers. The scores are displayed on large LED unit built into the rear wall of the game and we can provide a leader board to keep track of the most successful scores. The volume of the game is fully adjustable and it can be used with or without the background music. Games can be set to a choice of time limits but a 30 second game we find works best.

Branded Whack a Mole Arcade Game Hire

The game is supplied in colourful whack a mole theme but we also offer the option of bespoke branding so it can me matched to your corporate identity or custom themed. If you do go with a bespoke design we’ll keep those panels safely for you after the event so they’ll be available to use for any future hires you may require.

To operate the Whack a Mole game you’ll need an area of 1.5m wide and 1.35m deep - this includes room for the players to stand. Access to a single power socket is needed. This game is for indoor use only.

1. What is the Whack a Mole game?

Our digital Whack Mole is a modern day version of the arcade favourite where you bash the moles with a foam basher. Instead of the old mechanical pop-ups this digital version has mole hills that you strike with the basher as they randomly light up. It initially starts with just one light as time then after a few seconds increases to multiple lights flashing up at the same time turning it in to a fast and furious challenge.

2. How does the game work?

The game can be played by one or two players at a time. The scoring is independent but it’s always fun to have a winner of each individual game so we think two players is best but if you only have one person they can still compete to get their score on the leader board. To start the game you just tap the one button and after a three second count down the game starts. On the rear panel of the game is a large scoring display that shows the scores as the game progresses. Once the time is up whichever side has won will flash all its lights and the final scores are displayed. We provide a magnetic leader board to keep track of the best scores.

3. What size is the game and how much space does it require?

The Whack a Mole game measures approximately 140cm wide x 70cm deep. Allow a little extra space in front of the 70cm for the players to stand.

4. Do I need electricity or power to run it?

Yes, an electric supply is required but the power draw is minimal. A 500 watt supply is all that’s required.

5. Can the game be branded with my company’s logo and graphics?

Yes - the front and side panels of the game can be custom branded as can the playing surface and the back wall of the game. You could change the theme of the game from whacking moles to whacking things related to your business. We’ve had companies theme it to whacking viruses for a software company and another theme it to whacking recruitment problems that their business can tackle. It’s really up to your imagination. We’ll supply the templates for you to create the artwork and we’ll then have the panels made up. After the event we’ll store them safely for you so you can use them again for any future hires, we don’ just dispose of them.

6. Where can this game be used?

Whack a Mole is ideal for exhibition stands, brand activations, conference breakout time, corporate events, fan zones and other celebrations. In fact anywhere where you’d like some fast paced fun!

7. Who can play Whack a Mole?

Whack a Mole can be played by users age 7 to adult. As long as they can reach the targets at the back of the game they’re welcome to play but it’s the adults that seem to have the most fun!

8. Do you deliver and setup the game?

Yes - we deliver to your venue and set up the game. If it’s a staffed hire we’ll run the game for you making sure players know how to play and we’ll keep track of the top scores for you. If it’s an unstaffed hire for an exhibition or conference stand we’ll set the game up, run through how it works with you and provide written instructions so you or your event staff can run it smoothly.

9. What is included in the hire price and are there any extras?

If you contact us with your required event dates and timings, the type of event, together with details of the event venue we’ll provide you with a quote that includes the hire and delivery costs where applicable, together with the optional branding cost. Other than that there’s no other charges.
